Hydro power crisis

Despite the huge potential in hydro power,Nepal is still suffering from the load shedding due to unclear vision.
The estimate capacity of the hydro power is about 85,000 MW as researched by some russian student who have never been in Nepal. However, this estimation varies from study to study.
Some researches estimated that the total hydro power is about 45,000 MW and some companies says its about 150,000MW. So, the proper estimated power needs to be calculated properly.
The power plant that are currently installed are mostly depended on the river's water supply.
Only one major plant can be run all season. Hence, there is not sufficient power plant that can be run in winter season.
If the industries are to be developed, then the hydro power should be developed as it totally relies on it.Some argues that if more power plants are installed, then there will be more energy and we have to sell it to the india or china. But, instead of doing that, we could establish more industries that utilizes the energy.
To sum up,the proper vision and research is necessary for the development of the hydro power in Nepal and reduce the energy crisis.
